: HISTORY :
- Panic formed in the winter of 2001. Two bands at the verge of falling apart instead joined to form one - the result was a show at Mass Art in Boston on March 30th, where they were booked under the name of one of the former bands. The announcement was made that the old band was dead, and Panic began.
- a demo shortly followed recorded by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios in Amherst on a chilly day that spring. Bridge 9 Records soon released a 7 song EP entitled Dying For It.
- tours scattered across 2001 and 2002 on the east coast and west coast, as well as a few midwest dates followed by the release of a 2nd Self Titled EP on Bridge 9 Records.
- Panic quit while onstage at the Back to School Jam in 2002 in Massachusettes, and fell into silence while the members got back to their own shit and took some time apart. Although they kept in touch over the following 3 years, everyone was involved in other music projects and work.
- In 2005, Reflections Records out of Holland invited Panic to play a reunion show at the Arnhem Hardcore meeting that March, alongside about 20 other hardcore acts. Panic leaped at the chance to play together again, hang out again, and finally play in front of a European audience.
- Exactly 4 years after their first show, the Panic reunion was enough to convince the members that they weren't finished with what they had started, and the decision to record a new EP for Reflections followed.
- Panic will be releasing a new EP and touring the US, UK, and Europe throughout 2006.
